Here are trends the professionals say homeowners have steered clear of in 2015.

Number 5: Mirrored furniture and finishes

Gone are the days of "Hollywood Glam" mirrored and metallic furniture, according to Kelly. The trend may once have been the so-called red lipstick of interior design, adding a bit of easy glamour to a dull room, but now the homeowners are dressing up these rooms with shabby chick or aged accessories instead of Glam!
