Where your house is going to be built

is instrumental to every aspect of the build. Sometimes we fall in love with a piece of land and let our heart take over our brain. The lot will dictate the type of build and in some cases the style. Is it on a slope, will you need a basement, retaining walls or raised foundation? Is it on a cliff with breath taking views but difficult access for supplies and safety issues for small children? A flat lot is cheaper to build on than a slopped lot. If budget and safety are not a concern than by all means find than truly unique one of a kind place to build your dream!
